National Youth Indaba 2025

On 14th March 2025, Laborers in Christ joined youths from across the nation for the National Youth Indaba 2025, held under the theme “Voices Amplified, Innovation Ignited.” The event provided a platform for young people to engage in meaningful discussions on issues affecting their future.

In alignment with the organization’s mission and the recently launched “Yes to Abstinence and No to Drugs and Substance Abuse” campaign on March 11, 2025, Laborers in Christ reaffirmed its commitment to guiding young people toward a path of purpose and responsibility.

President Hakainde Hichilema, who served as the Guest of Honor and officially opened the Indaba, strongly urged the youth to remain focused on their education and steer clear of destructive behaviors such as drug abuse, premarital sex, and unhealthy relationships with “sugar daddies.” He emphasized the importance of making wise choices, cautioning that reckless decisions could lead to lifelong regret.
