About Us

We first started as a group of 30 women from various denominations who observed that spiritual and moral values were not fully embraced among young adults, and Jesus Christ was not a central factor in their lives. With a passion for evangelism, discipleship, and sharing the message of Christ, we committed ourselves to ministering to young adults in our respective communities. Inspired by Luke 10:2, we called ourselves Laborers in Christ.

However, as we ministered, we realized that many young adults were struggling with vices such as substance abuse, which hindered their ability to grow into responsible and effective individuals. Recognizing the need for a holistic approach to address these challenges, we decided to take our mission to a higher level. This led to the establishment of Laborers in Christ as an Non-Governmental Organisation on 21st March 2024, dedicated to transforming lives through spiritual guidance, substance abuse awareness, and empowerment initiatives.
